A LO share & freebie news

Yet another bluebonnet based layout! But I came up with the idea of this while I was looking at a book, and this photo was the style I was looking for. Everything's from my Girly Girl kit, with the exception of the bluebonnet brush/stamp. Papers were retinted 'cause I wanted something blue. Journaling font is Angelina, date is Amaze, and title is Misproject.

Unless I get struck by some other inspiration over the next couple of days, I'm going to start working on some more Dream Trip ribbons to go with the stickpin I recently posted. It's always nice to have options! :) So, hopefully by the end of the week I'll have a few ready for you.

Thanks for looking!

Last day for Raid the Fridge

Final call over at Digitals! It's still at 50% off, and tomorrow, it's outta here! :)

New Girly Girl Kit (and scroll down for a freebie)

Now available at Digitals! I started creating this kit with the intention of doing something princess-y, but I wasn't happy with the way it was progressing. So it ended up being more in a general girl theme. I love soft pink. :) This kit includes some of my favorite embellishments, like stickpins, ribbons, and word strips. Most items have a custom shadow, and they are ready to drag & drop onto your layouts. I've already made a couple of layouts, and it hardly took any time to create. :D You can check it out at Digitals by clicking here:http://www.digitalscrapbookpages.com/digitals/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5605

Seebee's Freebies Dream Trip Girly Girl Kit bonus

For personal use only. Background paper NOT included. This is a set of two embellishments that coordinate with my new Girly Girl Kit at Digitals: a Hidden Mouse Swirl ribbon, and a Hidden Mouse pearl stickpin. Both elements have had custom shadows added and they are ready to drag & drop onto your layouts. You can download them here: http://www.4shared.com/file/44425407/6e1d74a7/Seebees_Freebies_Dream_Trip_Girly_Girl_Kit_Bonus.html

Layered Hidden Mouse balloons for PS/PSE users

For personal use only. Use the top 4 layers in the layer stack to add the 3 balloons to your layout. Sorry, but these are NOT available as .png files. You can download it here: LINK RETURNING SOON!

Another free Dream Trip Paper

Here's another single paper to download if you like. I was inspired to try to make balloons using the bubble instructions from this week's Photoshop TV. When they got flattened for the paper, I think they've lost a little "something", so I'm thinking of posting just the balloons in .psd format for anyone who wants to add them as an embellishment. But we'll start with the paper. :) You can download it here: LINK RETURNING SOON

Sparkle Alpha now available

I want to joke that this alpha was a million years in the making! It felt like that long to me, anyways. I've had the idea for something like this ever since I put up my first Dream Trip Magic Dust stuff waaaaaay back in January. I didn't mention it in the write-up on Digitals, but this one enlarges nicely, I think. If you make it larger, you can see the detail better. The layout that I did with this (scroll down) was done at regular size, just like "Sparkle Alpha" on the contact sheet. You can find it at Digitals here:http://www.digitalscrapbookpages.com/digitals/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5562

Seebee's Freebies Dream Trip Crazy Tea Party Paper

For personal use only. We're going simple today. I was on a mission to create a paper that was compatible with a certain spinning ride. I didn't feel like making everyone wait until I got a whole pack together, and I was too lazy to make a contact sheet for 1 piece. So, here it is! :) You can download it here: LINK RETURNING SOON

Scroll Down for a Freebie!

Now available at Digitals! I've been in a sparkly mood recently, and wanted to create some more papers in that line. Here's 12 colorful papers that'll add some glitz to your layouts! You can check them out here:http://www.digitalscrapbookpages.com/digitals/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5501 . And the blog post below includes the link to download some nice Sparkle Journaling lines, so check it out if you haven't already. :)

A LO share-preview of The Sparkle Pack2 and a FREE bonus

I'm sharing a layout today, but this is so much more! :) This is another picture from our February Disney Trip. While I was working on the page, I came to realize that the title fit better than I expected, because my son had a huge meltdown about an hour after this shot was taken; his strong-willed, stubborn side showed through. Blechk! Anyway, the Gold Cardstock is available here on this blog, as is the frame and the Hidden Mouse vertical circle edge. (Sorry, I'm forgetting the actual name of the edge at the moment!) The alpha is my upcoming Sparkle Alpha (with a gold Thin Metals layer style applied), and the Gold Sparkle paper is also part of a new paper pack. And here's the free bonus: you can download the sparkle journaling lines here: LINK RETURNING SOON . They are not as long as what is shown; I copied the layer and moved it over to make them longer. These are the white lines only. Hope you enjoy them!

The action posted yesterday & PSE5

It looks like there may be some bugs to work out with the action from yesterday and v5 of PSE. I'm in the process of hopefully working out the problem, so stay tuned!

Anyone want to test a PSE action? (NSR, though!)

I created my first action yesterday. It's not really scrapbook related; I just wanted to get a gallery-style frame with a grunge edge around the photo, suitable for web & e-mail sharing. I have tested the action successfully in PSE4, but I'm curious to see how it works in v5 (and even v3). So, if you're using either of those versions (and v4 people, you can snag it if you want), please consider downloading & seeing how it runs. I have NOT included instructions on how to install actions into PSE, so you'll need to already be comfortable installing actions/effects into your version of PSE. (If you've ever installed an Atomic Cupcake action, for instance, this file should install in the same location.)

Also included, a readme file which gives a few specific instructions about running the action.

Specifically if you're using v5, I'm wanting to know if the final product has an editable layer style. In v4, that's not possible due to the way layer styles are handled. Since v5 has a different style menu, I was thinking you may be able to modify it, just like in PS. Just drop a comment & let me know, please? Thanks! You can download it all here: LINK RETURNING SOON

You can also use this action in regular PS...probably versions CS & CS2, although it's only been tested in CS2. Version 7 and under will not be able to read the .psd file during the place command. HOWEVER, I had uploaded (for the sake of testing), a 72 ppi grunge frame in .pdf format which CAN be used with PS7; you can grab that here: LINK RETURNING SOON . If you are using full Photoshop, simply disregard the .psd thumbnail file and load only the .atn file into your actions palette.

Thanks!

Just sharing a layout today

You see a lot of these types of pictures this time of year in Texas. But this is the first year I've gone out and shot bluebonnets. (I actually went out Sunday morning & shot bluebonnet macros & stuff, and then last night I took the kids out for their shoot.) So, I'm happy with what I got, although I'm not supremely in love with this LO. Anyways...the alpha is something I'm working on, the journaling font is Valerie, the "bonnets" is Bickley Script, and the date is Joss. Thanks for looking!
