Merry Christmas!!! It's day 1!

Welcome to the kickoff for Digitals' Christmas in July event! Come here every day from now through July 25th for free daily downloads. Also, all of my Christmas themed products at Digitals are 50% off during the event! (Start planning those Christmas cards. :)) PLUS, each day check my section of Digitals to see which is my Product of the Day, which is also on sale for 50% off on that day only.

As I mentioned, I've got a freebie for this event. Basically I'm giving away a complete Quickpage album (normally $6) which works with Cosmo Cricket's "Jack" album. These are all .png files and should work in most programs. Each day's link will only be up for 24 hours, so be sure to stop by every day to download it. (If you miss some of the downloads, the complete album, along with ready-for-lab 5 x 7s, will be available for sale in the store after this event.) The nice part about these QPs is that you don't have to use them as a complete album. I was thinking it would be very cool to keep the Jack pages separate and send them out as 6 Christmas Cards. Then, the recipient can hang them as a photo ornament. Pretty neat, eh? (I'm going to do that myself!) The album is designed for vertical/portrait photos, and each "page" of the album has a photo on the front and a journaling box on the back. (But, again, be creative & use them as you like!)

New Dream Trip freebie!

So, I have these new Text Overlays up for sale at Digitals, and it occurred to me that I could do something similar with the Dream Trip theme. Presenting the first Dream Trip freebie in forever: the full page Dream Trip Overlays! I went with Princess & Pirate theme for this, but I expect to have at least 1 more set. (Can't say when, though.) I think the nice thing about this is it allows you to pick a color YOU want, create a 12 x 12, 300 ppi file, and drop this on top of it to create your own paper that works best for your layout. Or, you can add it to a picture, similar to what I did in both of these product previews.

Yes, Virginia, there WILL be another freebie!

While I do still have quite a few files to restore, I also hope to have another NEW freebie available. I can tell you that I have a couple of extra papers that match my latest kit, That Happy Feeling, so I'll probably try to do a mini kit for that for here. Sound ok? :) Now, keep in mind I've got lots of other projects & things going on, so I can't give you a timeline, I'm afraid. But I haven't forgotten this blog although sometimes I'm sure it must seem like it. I'll tell you that in terms of Dream Trip stuff, for some reason I find it much easier to come up with creative ideas when I have a trip planned. Since I've got no future trip coming up, I don't have as much driving me in that direction at the moment.
